Why we back CommBox Touchscreens
PRESS PLAY FOR AN OVERVIEW OF COMMBOX CLASSIC
Not every touchscreen is the same. The CommBox Classic is a premium touchscreen solution, designed here in Australia incorporating quality components throughout:
A-Grade Commercial Display
It all starts with the LCD display itself, which is the main ingredient in a touchscreen. At CommBox we use Commercial A-Grade LED backlit LCD glass from LG. You will never find a consumer-grade display or LCD glass from the low-end manufacturers in a CommBox touchscreen.
The Benefits: Brighter image, crystal clear and crisp text with wide viewing angles.
Touch Technology
All CommBox touchscreens are built with only premium grade touch sensors. The CommBox Classic boasts 1mm object recognition.
The Benefits The CommBox Classic provides the most natural handwriting experience. The CommBox pen allows users to change colours by simply using the reverse end, and to even have up to three people writing at the same time in different colours.
Anti-Glare Glass
CommBox touchscreens feature CommBox Glide, which is premium anti-glare glass.
The Benefits: CommBox Glide premium anti-glare glass also ensures students have a clear view of the content, even if they are sitting off to the side with non-shaded windows on a sunny day.Users will find that fingers will glide smoothly across the glass, rather than stick or drag.
Flexible Audio
The audio in the CommBox is completely flexible. The CommBox has built-in speakers that are suitable for most environments. For a room where collaboration is encouraged and background noise is higher, CommBox can provide the Premium SoundBar with high fidelity audio and reinforced by MaxxBass Technology. On top of that, the CommBox Classic has line-level out as digital (SPIDF) and analogue (with volume attenuation). So integrating with an existing sound system is a breeze.). So integrating with an existing sound system is a breeze.
The Benefits: Pretty simple, users can hear clearly from all areas of the room. A real-life example – Macarthur Anglican School in Sydney had purchased another brand of touchscreen but changed to CommBox, mainly due to audio superiority.
Wireless Connection of laptops and personal devices
No more wires or cables needed. Using the built-in screen share, simply connect your Windows, Mac or Chrome laptop or personal device (including Apple and Android devices) to your CommBox touchscreen. Connect instantly or with a security code (change in settings). Connect up to 4 devices at one time. Connect a teacher or students device and present from anywhere in the room, alternatively control the device directly from the CommBox touchscreen.
The Benefits: Every room becomes flexible, meaning you are not tethered to one spot to present. Along with flexibility, this feature provides cost savings as you are not purchasing additional hardware often needed to connect devices for wireless screen sharing.
