Planner: An overlay app to plan your daily or weekly classes and activities. You can create your own tasks or use a template library. Developed in collaboration with Narromine Public School.
Clock: Place a clock over any content for quizzes and exams. Toggle between digital and analogue. Use the timer and stopwatch for games, activities, and lessons.
Posters: Access a growing library of teaching aids and posters, covering topics such as numeracy, literacy, science, nature, geography, languages and more.
Rewards: Reward and engage your class with a fun reward tracker. Set goals to inspire the class and track them with a range of fun stickers.
Phonemes: An easy teaching tool to model constructing words with phonemes. Designed to align to the new Australian Literacy Curriculum and built into collaboration with St Joseph’s Primary in Mclean NSW.
Spinner: A floating app that randomly selects a name, or input from a list. Colourful, fun and accompanied by sound effects.

Board Rooms Huddle Space Teams & Zoom Room

Board Rooms

These are the spaces where teams meet to make important decisions. In larger corporates this will involve pulling in team members, virtually, from across the globe and can also involve bringing in outside consultants or customers who won’t necessarily share the same network access, platform preferences or understanding of how equipment operates.

For these reasons a cross platform solution is optimal. In the case of VC this will mean leaders can jump into calls using Zoom, Teams, Webex, BlueJeans or whatever their preference. For presenting purposes, it means seamless integration and screensharing, whether they utilise Mac, Windows, chrome etc are connected to the network or not.

For this kind of space, dependent on the size of the room there are a number of set up options we recommend. These include, one large interactive screen front of room, dual screens side of room or a combination of the two, where you have one large interactive screen front of room and a smaller display or interactive screen side of room. All of these setups would need to be video conference enabled. For screensharing where presenters are not on the network, CommBox Connect powered by Airserver® is a simple and effective solution and comes built-in the the CommBox Classic touchscreen.

All CommBox Displays and touchscreens are both hardware and software agnostic with built-in screensharing and whiteboarding and an intuitive interface making them ideal for this sort of set up.

Huddle Room

With the growth in popularity of open plan offices, huddle spaces have answered the need for small informal spaces where 2 – 5 team members can come together, often spontaneously to do things like chat, hold a stand up, conduct a 1:1 or hold a weekly team meeting.

For these spaces to be effective and flexible, an interactive touchscreen which allows team members to quickly and easily bring up work, brainstorm, annotate, share and review is the only true option. By fitting your interactive touchscreen with vc capability you instantaneously add value by supporting remote workers and providing a direct connection to their team. Huddle spaces are defined by being small and so therefore a CommBox Classic 65” is the recommended product choice for this purpose paired with a video conference camera.

Another set up to consider for your huddle space utilises three smaller commerical displays and all the in-room particpants are in a row for a truer face-to-face interaction. Blended working is challenging how the furniture in the room should be set up. In the future more rooms will be laid out this way. This allows all the in room participants faces to be seen clearly by the camera. Huddle spaces can also be dedicated Teams and Zoom rooms.

Teams or Zoom Room

Video Conference is the cornerstone of blended working. In the last two years there has been a very large shift to using Teams and Zoom. Both Teams and Zoom are very focused on making sure meetings are inclusive and interactive for everyone. They have key features which help remote participants to feel as engaged and empowered to participate in meetings as those in the room. One of the key benefits of MTR and Zoom rooms is they create friction-free meeting spaces, they are designed to easily start or join a meeting, share ideas and content, and allow people to meet without distractions.

Both Microsoft and Zoom are iterating on their products very quickly. Both are focused on inclusion and making all the participants be as life like and real to size as possible for a more authentic human experience. A dedicated Teams or Zoom room requires a commercial in-room display, a Microsoft Teams Room device (including the in-room console), or Zoom Room device, a camera and a microphone. The size of the room will dictate the set up to ensure everyone can be seen and heard. Seen pictured is a medium size room with dual 65” Commerical Displays, a Yealink Meetingbar A20 for Zoom connected via HDMI to the commercial display and a Zoom room controller on the desk.

Microsoft wants you to sit face to face with life size colleagues. In the future, Teams will demand the use of large screens to allow the participant to be life size. Seen here is a Team Room set up with a 98” Commercial Display with a Logitech Tap and Meetup and two speakers on the desk. This will future proof your meeting room.
